CNRS/JSPS postdoctoral fellowships 2024

The Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) offers scholarships for young researchers who wish to complete a research internship in a Japanese laboratory. The scholarships are intended for young researchers of French nationality or young foreign researchers who have defended their thesis in France. All disciplines are concerned. The JSPS entrusted the evaluation and selection of the laureates to the CNRS.

Three formats are proposed for this call:

• Standard: 15 scholarships for young researchers (postdocs) who wish to do a 12 to 24-month research internship in a Japanese laboratory. Deadline: November 6, 2023
• Short-Term: 13 scholarships for young researchers (PhD students and postdocs) who wish to do a research internship of 1 to 12 months in a Japanese laboratory. Deadline: November 8, 2023
• Summer Program: 16 scholarships for young French researchers (Master 2, PhD students and postdocs) who wish to do a 2-month research internship in a Japanese laboratory. Deadline: December 12, 2023
